Coming to Hailuoto is easy

There are two ferries that connect the island of Hailuoto to the mainland and they operate every day of the year. The mainland ferry harbour is just 25 km from Oulu, the biggest city of Northern Finland. The second largest airport of Finland, Oulu Airport, is even closer, just 20 km away. Transport options from the airport to the ferry harbour include rental car, bus and taxi.

The city of Oulu also has a railway station, which links the city with the most important urban areas in Finland.
